Dear Valued Snow Valley Guests & Supporters:
There really hasn’t been much to report lately, but I wanted to provide some guidance based on the current situation as of Tuesday, April 7, 2020. I know many of you have emailed me and due to my wife and I having a baby late last month, I am working to get caught up on the hundreds of emails received.
I realize this pausing of our operations is frustrating, but in order to do the right thing to fight the coronavirus while also following governmental mandates, we have no choice but to continue to pause our operations.
I am an optimistic person and have to be so managing a ski resort. As such, I do hope (but can’t promise) that operations could resume if it is prudent to do so and there is still ample snow coverage. There have been past examples of Snow Valley being open into May and back in 1998 even resuming operations in late May for a few days due to a late snowstorm.
For those with questions about 4-pack tickets and season passes, please understand that we did operate for 105 days and as such, we are not entertaining refunds on those products. We will allow use of unused 4-pack tickets next season and will be amending our season pass renewal pricing in the near future. We will be in contact via email with both 4- pack customers and season pass customers in the next few weeks.
Additionally, the mountain is currently closed to all uses and any access including uphill access is not permitted.

Dear Valued Snow Valley Guests & Community:

After reflecting on the current situation involving the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have decided to pause our operations at Snow Valley Mountain Resort effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020.   We realize this is disappointing news to the winter sports community and devastating news to our Team Members and to our local business community.

During this pause of our operations, we will continue grooming the mountain to maintain our snow pack and will make snow as conditions permit.   While we currently do not know how long this will last, we are ready at a moment’s notice to push the “play” button and resume operations.

We’ve operated for 105 days this season thus far and look forward to resuming operations as soon as it is prudent to do so.
